Thank you all for making it out to the 2024 McMinnville Scottish Festival! This was the second year in a row that the Woodworth Contrarian Fund was the title sponsor for the growing event! Drew & Quinn Millegan, Managing partners of the Woodworth Contrarian Fund, trace their deep roots in Oregon back to Scotland. James Alexander Millegan (pictured at bottom), their great-great-great-great grandfather made the treacherous voyage alone from Scotland in 1803 at the age of 7 to New York City. He hailed from Edinburgh, but in New York, he met his wife and built a family that went out West, settling in Oregon and Montana. His children were even the 13th homesteaders in Montana, founding Millegan, MT. When visiting his children in his late 90s, James fell deathly ill and was consequently the only veteran of the War of 1812 buried in Montana.

About the Managers: Drew Millegan with his brother, Quinn Millegan, (29 and 26 years old respectively) manage the Woodworth Contrarian Stock & Bond Fund, a hedge fund based in McMinnville, Oregon. They grew up in the finance world, and specialize in contrarian investment strategies in the US Public and Private markets.
